Port Blair, Sept 21: An activist attached to a social group, which is fighting for Tobacco Ban has got threat from a local businessman. This is a serious issue and Andaman Sheekha is ready to share details of such threat to police.
It seems that some people have taken law and order too lightly in these Islands and have least fear for law of this land. The Andaman and Nicobar Police must interfere in this matter and provide protection for the activist.
For safety reasons identity of the activist has not been disclosed.
