Port Blair, Sept 20: As part of Memorandum of Understanding signed between the A&N Administration and Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi in May this year, ICCR is deputing two International Cultural Groups to perform at Port Blair in September 2016. Poland Jazz Band Concert will be held at DBRAIT Auditorium, Dollygunj, Port Blair on Sept 24, 2016.
The Department of Art & Culture has invited all fans of Jazz Band Concert to come and enjoy the mesmerizing performance of Polish Jazz band Group and to have an intimate experience of a live performance by five member Professional Artists from Poland.
The initiative of the Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration in collaboration with ICCR would not only strengthen cultural ties between India and other participating nations but would also facilitate the islands towards understanding and appreciating International Cultural Landscape.
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, a special concert of an International Flutist group comprising of Indian and Slovakian artists will be held at DBRAIT Auditorium, Dollygunj, Port Blair on Sept 27. Entry is free in both the concerts.
