Port Blair, September 02: A fisherman namely Jeevan Lall a resident of Pokadera, Mayabunder died today after drowning into the sea near Fish Landing Centre, Burmanallah.
As per reports, the man is a habitual drunkard and he also used to go on fishing under heavy influence of liquor. Sources said that he also used to get seizures often which could also be a reason of his drowning in the sea.
According to sources his body was seen by the villagers this afternoon after which the villagers immediately informed the Police.
On information a team of Police reached the spot and shifted the body to the GB Pant Hospital for postmortem.
