Port Blair, August 30: Two people died in a tragic accident at Andha Beda area of South Andaman on Sunday night when an auto with passengers fell into sea, accidently.
As per reports, the Autorickshaw driver with his family members viz wife, two sons, uncle and aunt went for fishing at Andha Beda, Bamfooflat.
According to villagers after fishing at around 10.50 pm, when the Autorickshaw driver started for home, the Autorickshaw suddenly jumped into nearly four meter deep sea, after moving nearly 100 ahead after start.
However the people who were present nearby rescued everyone except Auto Driver’s wife Pausia and 2 and a half year son Sehzad.
On information a team of Bambooflat reached the spot immediately and with the help of police divers searched the body of the 2 and a half year son Sehzad which was missing. The body of the Auto Driver’s wife reportedly came out with the auto. The tremendous effort of the Bambooflat Police Station was appreciated by people of the area.
