Port Blair, Aug 29: On the occasion of “National Sports Day” the DEO Office, Rangat, has organised Week long, Sports & Games activities for the School children of Rangat Zone.
Altogether 25 Schools of Rangat Zone participated in Inter School Table Tennis, Badminton, and Yoga competition.
Today on 29th August 2016 during the Celebration of National Sports Day all the Final Matches where played.
On this Occasion Shri. JABESTIN A., DFO , Rangat was the Chief Guest and Shri. SUSHEN MALLICK, DEO, Rangat, was the Guest of Honour awarded the Prizes Winners & Runners- up trophy and Certificates to all winners of Table Tennis, Badminton, & Yoga Competition.
The Chief Guest Shri. JABESTIN A., DFO , Rangat, M. Andaman appreciated the performance of participants as well as the organisers for providing such platform for the young budding talents. In his address the Chief Guest has also briefed the life history of Major Dhyanchand and his achievements in Sports.
