Port Blair, Aug 23: A Public Hearing of A&N UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights was conducted on 23rd August 2016 in its office at Twin Nicobari Cottage, Vikas Bhawan, ANIIDCO, Port Blair.
The public hearing was conducted by the Chairperson of the Commission Smt Kiran Tigga along with Smti R. Geetha Raj & Smti Rubina Siddiqui, Members. Shri Riswanullah, Deputy Secretary(Law) and Shri N.A. Khan, Ld Panel Advocate and Ms Reeta Devi, Secretary, AN UTCPCR were also present during the public hearing.
The cases which were brought before the Commission were patiently heard and it was decided to follow up the same with the concerned Departments.
The General public are requested to bring forth the issues concerning children before the Commission on a regular basis.
