Port Blair, July 5: Sudhangshubala Foundation Trust (SFT), Port Blair has greeted the islanders on the auspicious occasions of Rathyatra Festival. In his message, the Founder of the Trust, Mr Bhabesh Majumder has said, “We bow to Lord Jagannath on this auspicious day. Today once again he sets out on his chariot, giving blessings to the people. My warm greetings to the people on the occasion of the Rath Yatra that would be held across India today. We pray to Lord Jagannath for peace, prosperity and happiness in AN Islands and throughout the Country. May Lord Jagannath bless us with good monsoon that will help our farmers and shows the right path to every individual with harmony and peaceful co-existence.”
Mr Majumder has also greeted the islanders on Eid festival and said, “On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend warm greetings and good wishes to all Islanders, particularly to my Muslim brothers and sisters.” Mr Majumder has also added that, “as we celebrate this day which marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan, I hope that the festival with its tradition of giving and sharing enriches our lives with a spirit of brotherhood and empathy for the deprived. I hope this Eid brings happiness to everyone, it is a day for everyone to come together.”
