Port Blair, July 05: It is learnt that eight DANICS officers have been transferred from Delhi to A& N Islands with immediate effect. The officers are Ms Richa Sharma, Shri Sushil Singh of selection grade officer of DANICS, Shri Sunil Kumar Singh JAG- I Officer of DANICS, Shri Manoj Kumar Dwivedi entry grade officer of DANICS, Shri Sanjeev Ahuja, JAG-I officer of DANICS, Ms Shashi kaushal, JAG-I officer of DANICS, Shri Ajay Kumar Gupta, JAG-I officer of DANICS
This is an open secret now that the government still consider Andaman and Nicobar Islands as ‘Kalapani’. Public believe that the only difference is that British Government used to send freedom fighters and hardcore criminals to Andamans while our own Indian government often sends those officers to Andamans, who could not gel properly with government’s work culture.
But the question here is whether Andaman really needs so many officers from Mainland? Aren’t local officers capable enough to head crucial departments and run the show by their own?
