Port Blair, June 30: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to seven of its employees namely Mr A Subbaiah, Daftry, Smt Phool Kumari, WCM, Mr S Malokondaiah, Senior Sanitary Supervisor, Smt Thangammal, Sanitary Supervisor, Mr M Muniyaswamy, Sanitary Jawabdar, Mr Annu, Sanitary Mazdoor and Mr V Subramani, Sanitary Mazdoor attached to the Establishment and Sanitary Divisions on Thursday. At a simple function, the Chairperson, Smt Sheela Singh recalled the valuiable services rendered by the employees and wished them happy and a healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the retired employees in the presence of senior officials and staff of the Council.
