Port Blair, June 30: The Botanical Survey of India, Andaman & Nicobar Regional Centre here organized Hindi workshop on June 29 and 30 for generating interest, encouragement and awareness about the use of ‘Hindi’ in the official work amongst the officers and employees.
Inaugurating the workshop, Dr. Lal Ji Singh, Deputy Director & HOO, emphasized upon the importance of using Hindi works in the office as well as in day to day life. He also urged all the staffs to signature in Hindi in all their application, attendance registers etc.
Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Hindi Officer and Scientist B was the resource person for the workshop and stressed on correspondence and importance of Noting & Drafting in Hindi. Earlier, Mr Gautam Anuj Ekka, Preservation Assistant Grade –welcomed the gathering. Dr. Vivek. C.P., Botanical Assistant, proposed the vote of thanks.
