Port Blair, June 29: The Secretary (Education) A&N Administration has conveyed the approval for re-engagement of part time Pre-Primary Teachers (PPT), part time Pre-Primary Ayah/Safai Karamachari (PPA/SK), part time Craft Instructors and part time Attendants for the current academic session 2016-17.
It has been approved by the Competent Authority that the PPTs, PPA/SKs, part time CIs and part time Attendants who worked during the session 2015-16 upto closure of the school for Summer Vacation 2016, may be re-engaged for this current Academic Session 2016-17 with effect from 01st July, 2016, in their respective schools to which they have worked during the last academic session 2015-16, subject to satisfactory performance of each part time workers during the last academic session. Their salary will be released subject to renewal of temporary Plan Posts from the Administration.
In case of PPT & PPA, those who do not join for any reasons what so ever, The SMC of the respective school, who are empowered to recommend for appointment of PPT and PPA/SK, may like to select and recommend names of fresh candidates of PPT or PPA/SK, after observing necessary formalities in terms of the guidelines issued by this Directorate of Education, Port Blair. Such proposals must be submitted to this Directorate of Education by 15th July, 2016.
All the Zonal Officers/DDOs/Head of Institutions have been directed to re-engage the part time PPT, PPA, Part time Craft Instructors and Part time Attendants to their respective schools with effect from 01.07.2016, subject to their performance and send their joining report to the Directorate of Education, Port Blair before 11th July, 2016 without fail. All the DDOs are required to furnish the performance report in respect of each Part time worker for the session 2015-16 under their control for issue of formal engagement orders. Formal engagement orders will be issued only after receipt of individual performance reports from all the DDOs.
