Port Blair, June 21: As part of International Day of Yoga celebration, Coast Guard (A&N) organised a wellness and stress management session for CG Officers. Ms. Rashmi Singh, Secretary, Directorate of Social Welfare, A&N Administration graced the event and Ms. Arvinder J Singh, a corporate trainer and psychotherapist from Sleepwell Foundation along with her team conducted a lecture cum interactive session on emotional wellness and stress.
The focus of her training program had been psychological understanding of human behaviour and dealing with trauma and stress, improving self esteem, personal growth, efficiency at work and time management. She conferred the importance of problems in our lives and ways and means to overcome them with a positive attitude. She demonstrated certain stress bursting exercises thereby attaining progressive relaxation.
