Port Blair, June 14: A youth of New Pahargaon was arrested for raping a minor girl aged about 17 years. As per reports, the girl is a private worker and has recently come from Andhra Pradesh with her parents.
As per sources, the girl went from her house saying that she is going for washroom but after that the girl went missing.
Sources further said late night on 12th June a case of missing was registered by the mother of the girl. Later after police investigation the girl was found from the house of the youth.
The youth reportedly married the girl on 12th June at Ganesh Temple. As per sources, the today the girl has crossed 17 years. Further details are awaited.
