Port Blair, May 20: The INCOIS Observatory, Hyderabad has forecast high waves in the range of 3.0 – 4.4 meters during 17:30 hours on 20-05-2016 to 23:30 hours of 22-05-2016 along the west coast of Andaman Islands between Ten Degree Channel to Coco Channel. High waves in the range of 3.0 – 3.9 meters are also forecast during 17:30 hours on 20-05-2016 to 23:30 hours of 22-05-2016 along the west coast of Nicobar Islands between Ten Degree Channel to Great Channel. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea along and off Nicobar Coast. The general public have been advised to take precautionary measures and contact the State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres in case of any emergency.
