Port Blair, May 16: The Indian Meteorological Department today said that Monsoon will possibly hit Andaman and Nicobar Islands by 22 May.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha the Incharge of Indian Meteorological Department unit of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dr. Siddhartha Singh today said pre-monsoon activities have already started at Nicobar Islands.
“In one or two days the pre monsoon activities will be seen in Port Blair region too. We can say that in next few days Port Blair and adjoining areas will witness rainfall and by 22 May Monsoon will cover Andaman and Nicobar Islands completely,” Dr. Singh said.
