Port Blair, April 20: Power supply will remain suspended in some areas from April 22 to 30, 2016 from 8 am to 4 pm for rectification of Chidiyatapu 11 kV Aerial Bunch Cable (ABC) feeder by M/s. Powergrid Corporation of India Limited. The areas to be affected by power disruption are Kodiyaghat to Chidiyatapu.
Power supply will also remain suspended in some areas on April 23 from 7.30 am to 2 pm for re-establishment of Distribution Transformer and maintenance of Cross Arm in front of Boy’s School, Middle Point. The areas to be affected by power break are part of Gurudwara Lane, Biggi Lane, Anthropological Museum Middle Point, Link Road, VIP Road, Police Line and part of Junglighat.
Power cuts will also be exercised on April 23 from 7.30 am to 4 pm for replacement of 03 dilapidated RCC poles at Pathergudda and infront of Bhatu Basti School ground gate. The areas to be affected are Bhatu Basti complete, Laxmi Motor area, Pathergudda, Satellite Colony, New Pahargaon and parts of Prothrapur.
