Port Blair, April 20: The Congress Party on Wednesday felicitated Padmasree Naresh Chandra Lall, renowned Theatre and Film Artist from these islands. The President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma presented bouquet and shawl to Mr. Lall in the presence of a large gathering of party leaders and workers and congratulated him for the achievement and making the islands proud. “Mr Lall is a sincere and devoted person who always worked for the progress of these islands through his creations,” he said expressing hope that Padmashree awardee will continue the endeavour for the development of Film and Theatre in these islands. Smt Shanta Singh, Smt Pushpanjali Raju, Mr Farooq and Mr R.V Reddy also spoke on the occasion.
