Port Blair, Apr 19: Kailashpati Classical Dance Academy, established by P. R. Manikuttan celebrated its Annual Day on 17th April 2016 under the theme LAASYAM-17 at ALHW Auditorium.
The Director Art & Culture Dr. R. Devdas was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He appreciated the cherished Classical Dance form and aspired more participation of boys to learn this dance form. The artist dancers of academy presented beautiful Bharat Natyam and semi classical dances.
The ‘Dasaavataaram’ presentation mesmerized the audience. The Academy felicitated Miss Juhi Simon with ‘Natya Tilagam’ award. Diploma Certificates were conferred to Vidya Manoj, D. Ambali Kumari, Puja Shekhar, Anuvarshini and Vismaya. The program was coordinated by Smti Suja Johnson.
