Port Blair, April 17: Beach Festival 2016 is scheduled to be held from April 22-24, 2016 at Corbyn’s Cove to popularize beaches and provide sundown entertainment to the Islanders as well as to the visiting tourist. Beach Sports competitions will be at Corbyn’s Cove to encourage more participation from general public and tourists. In this connection, the Tourism Department will organize Sand Sculpture competition for general public and school students. The competition will be held on April 23 and 24 for school children and general public between 3 pm and 6 pm respectively.
Interested participants may register their names on or before April 20 for participation in Sand Sculpture competition during the Beach Festival – 2016 in the reception counter of this directorate during the office hours on any working day.
