Port Blair, April 15: The Carmel Alumni, Port Blair organised a Career Guidance Session for the students of Class X and XII of Carmel Sr. Sec. School, Port Blair. The session was held on April 9 wherein at least 16 resource persons, mostly Ex-Carmelites had come together to show a larger picture of career options available for the future citizens, apart from fields like medicine and engineering.
The session was held at Mother Veronica Auditorium, Carmel School wherein the resource persons from various disciplines enlightened the students on how to decide the best for them. Prospects in the fields like entrepreneurship, shipping, defence, agricultural science, horticulture, banking, management, nursing, tourism, hospitality, ecological research and journalism were explained threadbare to the students. The session also included an interaction with the students, during which the students tried to clear their queries.

Earlier, Sr. Maria Reshma AC, Principal of the school welcomed the resource persons while Ms Gracy Tripathy, Student, Class XII (Arts) proposed the vote of thanks.
