Port Blair, April 6: The Andhra Association here will celebrate Ugadi, Telugu New Year, on April 8, 2016 from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm in the auditorium of the association. The President of the Association, Mr P Surya Rao will be the chief guest, while Mr S Sudershan Rao, Director/Scientist-E, GoI, Department of Science and Technology, will be the special guest on the occasion. The Councillor, Ward no. 14, Mr B Eswar Rao, Councillor, Ward no. 2, Mr R Someshwara Rao and Councillor, Ward no. 15, Mr CH Babu will grace the occasion as the guests of honor. The General Secretary of Andhra Association, Mr V Keshav Murthy will preside over the function. A cultural programme will also be held on the occasion.
