Diglipur, Mar 30: Reports of havoc caused by wild elephants in Diglipur region is continuously pouring in, indicating towards yet another possible man-animal conflict in the region.
According to reports on 29 March four elephants had entered the paddy fields of Shyam Nagar area of Diglipur at around 7.30 PM.
Sighting of elephants reportedly triggered panic in the area following which the officials of Forest and Police Department were called by the villagers. As per report the Forest Officials later drove away the elephants using crackers.
