Port Blair, March 29: The Botanical Survey of India, Andaman & Nicobar Regional Centre, conducted a two-day Hindi workshop for generating interest, encouragement and awareness about the use of ‘Hindi’ in the official work amongst the officers and employees.
Inaugurating the Hindi workshop, Dr. Lal Ji Singh, Deputy Director & HOO, emphasized upon the importance of using Hindi works in the office as well as in day to day life. He also urged all the staffs to signature in Hindi in all their application, attendance registers etc. Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Scientist B and Hindi Officer was the resource person for the workshop. He trained the participants on Official letter writing in Hindi to all the staffs.
Earlier Dr. Jagadeesh Ram T.A.M., Scientist –D welcomed the gathering. Mr Gautam Anuj Ekka, Preservation Assistant Grade –I proposed the vote of thanks.
