Port Blair, March 23: Dr. Praveen Togadia, International Working President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad will arrive on a two-day visit to these islands on March 27, 2016. During his visit, he shall address the devotees, followers and the general public March 28 at Chinmaya Mission from 5 pm to 7 pm and later address the local media at 7.30 pm at the same venue.
Dr. Praveen Togadia was born in 1956. He was an RSS Swayamsevak in Ahmedabad, and a colleague of Narendra Modi. He was drafted into VHP in 1983 and Narendra Modi was drafted into Political field in 1984. He received a bachelor’s degree (MBBS) in medicine followed by a master’s degree (MS) in surgical oncology. He practised as a surgeon for fourteen years, and established a hospital, Dhanvantri Hospital in Ahmedabad which later on dedicated to serve the mankind.
He gave up practising medicine to become more involved in propagation and development of Hinduism.
