Port Blair, Mar 21: The Lt. Governor, A & N Islands has asked the Secretary, Civil Aviation, Shri N.K.Sharma to explore the possibilities for operating additional chartered flights during summer vacation of schools, especially during the beginning and end of the summer vacation for facilitating the students and the islanders to visit their hometown at mainland and for the students those who are studying in mainland to return their homes in the islands. Accordingly, Air India is being requested to provide additional flights on sector Chennai – Port Blair – Chennai and Kolkata – Port Blair – Kolkata.
