Port Blair, Mar 21: World Down Syndrome Day 2016 was observed for CWSN on Monday at CRC, DIET, Garacharama to spread awareness about the Down Syndrome and rights of disabled children /person. Altogether, 39 CWSN Students of class I to VIII of the five Schools under CRC, DIET participated with their parents at DIET campus, Garacharama. Various sports events were organized for the children. The Principal, DIET motivated the CWSN children and parents and congratulated all participants on the occasion. Mr Abdul Halim, In-charge, SSA, DIET coordinated the entire programme.
