Port Blair, Mar 17: An assessment camp for Children With Special Need (CWSN) held today the 17th March, 2016 in the Conference Hall of DEO’s Office, Rangat. All CWSN along with their parents were present in the Assessment Camp.
In the assessment camp, children were assessed by a Medical Officer with the assistant of Medical staff, PSRTs and other staff of this BRC, Rangat. Dr. Shankar Saha, Medical Officer, along with assistance PHC, Billiground, Examines CWSN and recommend aids and appliances for CWSNs according to their needs and disabilities.
Earlier, Shri Sushen Mallick, DEO/Coordinator(SSA/RMSA), BRC, Rangat addressed the children and their parents and briefed objectives of assessment camp i.e Education Department has been providing all kind of assistance to boost up their moral sprit and to bring them to the main stream.
