Port Blair, Mar 16: The Gold and Silver Merchants Society of these islands will keep their shops closed and a hold a mass protest rally on March 17, 2016 from Tiranga Park to Raj Niwas against the move of the government to impose central excise duty. The protestors will also submit a memorandum to the Lt. Governor to demand roll back of the excise duty.
