Port Blair, Feb 19: Shri Anadiranjan Biswas, Writer awarded with LG’s Commendation Certificate (Republic Day 2010) and Editor of BAAKPROTIMA (the only RNI-registered Bengali Little Magazine of A&N Islands) as well as NEWS SPOTLIGHT (Monthly Bilingual Newspaper published from Port Blair), accompanied by its Sub-Editor Shri Birendra Kishore Talukdar attended the 12th International Conference of Itihas Academy, Dhaka, Bangladesh held on 19th February 2016 in the Auditorium of National Academy of Educational Management (NAEM), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Shri Biswas presented his paper entitled ‘Andamaner Sthan Naamer Boichitro’ while Shri Talukdar presented his paper entitled ‘Andamaner Lok Sanskriti O Loksangeet’.
In the inaugural session of this International Conference Shri Anadiranjan Biswas, Editor, Baakprotima accompanied by Shri Birendra Kishore Talukdar presented a copy of Baakprotima Sharad Sambhar-1422 to Shri Mashiur Rehman Ranga, Hon’ble Minister (Rural Development, Local Government & Cooperation), People’s Republic of Bangladesh (pictures attached).
