Port Blair, Jan 24: The ten-day leadership programme for Head of Institution under National Centre School Leadership (NCSL) in collaboration with NUEPA, New Delhi for the Principals/Headmasters is concluded on Saturday. The programme, organized by RMSA UT Mission A&N Islands, was attended by 50 Head of Institution from all the nine zones.
The workshop is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GoI for improving the ability to perform their roles and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. The multifaceted role entrusts them not only with managing the school but leading it with a vision in order to deliver quality education.
Addressing the valedictory function, Smt Tanvi Garg, Secretary (Education) stressed on the need to utilize the lessons and implement the same in their respective schools. Dr Kashyapi Awasthi, Assistant Professor, NCSL, NUEPA New Delhi imparted the training for all the 10 days for the orientation workshop and stressed the importance of experience sharing and learning this workshop and stressed the need to implement the same in their respective schools as the Head of Institution.
