Port Blair, Jan 20: In yet another incident of tourist’s death in Andaman, a lady from Kolkata, Smti. Kakoli Ghosh, W/o Shri Subhendra Kumar Ghosh today died onboard MV Green Ocean, while travelling to Havelock from Port Blair.
As per details while going towards Havelock Island, at around 0800 hours the 46 year old lady complained about breathing problem and as per reports subsequently she collapsed.
The matter was immediately reported to the PHC Havelock and Ambulance was kept ready at the Havelock Jetty.
After reaching Havelock, she was immediately rushed to PHC Havelock, where she was declared brought dead.
When contacted the Dy.S.P Havelock, Mr. B Saigal said that a case of unnatural death has been registered by police at Havelock and after post mortem the body was shifted to Port Blair for her last journey back home.
He said that local police of Havelock Islands extended all possible help for the family to shift the body from Havelock to Port Blair.
