Port Blair, Jan 12: A ten-day leadership programme for Heads of Institution under National Centre School Leadership (NCSL) in collaboration with NUEPA, New Delhi for the Principals/Headmasters commenced from 12/01/2016 at the conference hall of State Library, Port Blair organized by RMSA UT Mission A&N Islands. A total of 50 heads of Institution from all 09 zones are attending the training programme.
The workshop is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GoI for improving the ability to perform their roles and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. The multi-faceted role entrusts them not only with managing the school but leading it with a vision in order to deliver quality education.
Shri Amit Kumar, Deputy Director Education (Admn) speaking on the occasion as chief guest stressed the need to utilize the lessons and implement the same in the respective schools.
Dr Kashyapi Awasthi, Assistant Professor, NCSL, NUEPA New Delhi outlined the motive behind the orientation workshop and stressed the importance of experience sharing and learning from each other and imparted training to the Heads of Institution.
Shri Salman U Khan, Resource person also imparted orientation through power point and lectures.
The programme was coordinated by Shri R.K. Singh, Project Officer (RMSA).
