Port Blair, Jan 8: During the Island Tourism Festival (ITF) 2016, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services will be organizing a “Dog Show” on Jan 16, 2016 at the ITF ground here at 9:30 am. During the show, dogs will be judged for their breed characteristics, obedience, care and upkeep including general health. Competition will be held under two categories – Large breeds and Small breeds. All dog owners interested to participate in the Dog Show are requested to register their names and other details with the Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Hospital, Junglighat and Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Dispensary, Garacharma on any day during working hours. The last date for registration is January 14, 2016.
