Port Blair, Jan 8: The Andaman and Nicobar Police will organize an essay competition on the topic “Citizen Duties & responsibilities in a progressive society”. The essay shall not be of more than 2000 words. The entries shall reach at the office of Dy.SP (HQ), Police Headquarters, Atlanta Point on or before Jan 22, 2016. Entries are invited in both English and Hindi language. The winner will be announced on Jan 26, 2016.
The first three winners of the contest will be awarded Rs 5000/-, Rs 3000/- and Rs 2000/- in cash respectively, while two consolation prizes of Rs 500 will also be awarded. An independent committee of Judges will be constituted to evaluate the entries/essays.
