Port Blair, Jan 08:The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma along with Pradhans and PRI members of Humprygunj, Collinpur and Swadeshnagar Panchayat met the Secretary (Panchayat), A & N Administration to-day and discussed various developmental works to be under taken in these panchayats urgently for the benefit of the general public.
The delegation urged the Secretary (Panchayat) to give special attention to Collinpur & Humfrygunj panchayats since these panchayats have been formed only in the last PRI elections and lacking from basic facilities like infrastructure, fund and man power. During the course of discussion Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President,
PCC urged the Secretary (Panchayat) to earmark sufficient fund to these Panchayats to take all such developmental works.
The Secretary (Panchayat) in turn assured that the request of the PRI members will be considered and action will be initiated.
