Port Blair, Jan 6: The Directorate of Tourism in coordination with District Administration, North & Middle Andaman and other stake holders organized a capacity building programme for Tourist Safety Enforcement Team (TSET)/Beach Officers and Life Guards, engaged in boating and other related operations, at Diglipur. The training was conducted on Monday at Aerial Bay jetty for proper coordination, effective monitoring and functioning of TSET/Beach Officers and Life Guards. Resource person from DSS, Mr Aqeeb Azeem, Technical consultant, imparted the training to about 25 representatives/officials from various Deptt. and Tourist Boat Operators/Associations.
