Port Blair, Jan 03: During the Island Tourism Festival (ITF) 2016, the Department of Agriculture in association with National Horticulture Mission will be organizing a ‘Flower Show’ on Jan 13, 2016 at ITF Ground. During the Flower Show, competitions will be held for various categories viz. Fresh and Dry Flower Arrangement, Flat Bouquets, Garland, Rangoli along with display of Potted Plants. Besides this, a competition will be held for awarding “Best Flower Grower” from South Andaman District.
The application form for enrolment of participants will be available at HVA Cell, Directorate of Agriculture, Zonal Agriculture Office, Goal Ghar and Organic Horticulture Farm, Sippighat on all working hours and also the same can be downloaded from the Administration website. The last date of submission of the application form is 9th January 2016.
