Port Blair, Dec 22: The foundation stone for construction of office complex for Indian Coast Guard Station, Hut Bay recently. ICGS Hut Bay was established on 30 Jan 2009 and is presently operating from temporary shelter. Inspector General Kuldeep Singh Sheoran PTM, TM Commander Coast Guard Region (A&N) laid the foundation stone in presence of large gathering of officials from administration, MES and local panchayat. The state-of-the-art infrastructure will be created in phased manner. Initially, Admin block, MI room, Communication and Operation Centre will be constructed, a release says.
