Port Blair, May 02: The BJP’s State President, R Mohan has requested the Lt Governor of A & N Islands to consider installation of Windmills in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In a letter addressed to the Lt. Governor Mr. Mohan wrote that the people of Port Blair and adjacent areas are upset with the frequent load shedding.
“The power cuts have become a talk of the town. The worst sufferers are the students, elderly persons, house wives and the businessmen community. Not only the people of Port Blair and adjacent areas, but the people of whole A&N Islands are suffering due to frequent power cuts. Hence, the Party requests for considering installing wind mills at various places,” Mohan added in his letter.
