Port Blair, Nov 27: Mr. Birendra Kishore Talukdar, an eminent Folk Singer (B-High Grade Folk Artist) of A&N Islands as well as the Secretary, Mukta Dhara, Port Blair and a Governing Body Member of E.Z.C.C., Kolkata has been invited to the International Conference on Language and Literature, War of Independence, Bangladesh, History and Politics of Bengal, History and Heritage of Subcontinent, Culture and Others, Women, Society and Environment, Architecture, Archeology, International History and Politics, Education, Philosophy and Historiography to be organised by the Itihas Academy, Dhaka, Bangladesh on 19th February 2016 at Dhaka.
Mr. Talukdar has been requested to present his paper on ‘Bengali Folk Song and Folk Culture of Andaman & Nicobar Islands’.
