Port Blair, Nov 26: In today’s matches of the 61st SGFI Girls U-17 Championship, the team of Punjab defeated Madhya Pradesh by six goals to one, while Bihar beat Gujarat in a tie-breaker. In other matches, Odisha defeated Andhra Pradesh 3-0 and Jharkhand beat Manipur 2-1.
In tomorrow’s quarter-final matches, Maharashtra will lock horns with Punjab at JNRM at 7 am, Tamil Nadu will face Bihar at JNRM at 9 am, Goa will take on Odisha at JNRM at 1 pm and Haryana will face Jharkhand at JNRM at 3 pm.
