Port Blair, Nov 2: The Science Wing of Directorate of Education will organize a State Level Exhibition & Project Competition (SLEPC) – INSPIRE 2015 in collaboration with the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi on Nov 4, 2015 in the auditorium of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Port Blair.
‘INSPIRE’ is a National programme implemented by Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, New Delhi for attraction of talent amongst the students to study Science and pursue carrier with research. Under this Scheme, selected students from class VI to X is awarded with Rs. 5000/- to prepare innovative projects and participate in the District/State Level Exhibition. The selected exhibits from the SLEPC will get opportunity to participate in the National Level Exhibition & Project Competition (NLEPC) which will be held in New Delhi.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at 10 am on Nov 4. All inspire awardees from nine educational zones of this UT along with their guide teachers have been requested to report at the venue on Nov 3 by 2 pm along with the exhibits positively for making necessary arrangements.
