Port Blair, Oct 15: Power supply will remain suspended in IOC area on Oct 17, 2015 from 8 am to 2 pm for cutting of huge tree standing near Panipat Road, Haddo.
Besides, the department will carry out replacement of old stay & jumper and line clearance work on main transmission line transmitting power supply from Bambooflat 20 MW IPP Power House to Garacharama Sub Station (Panther-I & Panther-II) on Oct 17, 2015 from 8 am to 2 pm. In this connection, half an hour rotational load shedding will be carried out in Port Blair and South Andaman area on Oct 17 from 8 am to 2 pm on as and when required basis. The works will be carried out subject to weather condition.
