Port Blair, Oct 14: On Tuesday the 13th of Oct 2015, a huge gathering witnessed the colourful evening at the A.S.I. auditorium, which was presented by “The followers of Kishore Kumar”.
An appeal was made by Mr. Waahid Shah, responding to that, the chief guest Smti. Sheela Singh, chairperson P.B.M.C., assured the gathering to look into & to provide the B.R. Ambedkar auditorium at reasonable price for the local artist & also to develop a mini auditorium in near future at Mohanpura.
The Chief Guest & the Guest of Honour Smti. Rubana Aziz, praised the quality of the programme. Songs, that gathered lot of applauses, rendered by the renowned performers were-“Bhole o Bhole” by Waahid Shah, “pyar manga hai” by Mohd. Nisar , “mere dil mein aaj” by Anant Ram, “dil aisa kisi ne” by Rajesh Ghosh, & “dhoop mein” by Raj. Promising singers Vazim with “chingari”, Shailender with “jalta hai jiya”, Arunima Ghosh with duets & Tarannum Sulaiman with her anchoring, glued the listeners to their seats. Special thanks were extended to the Dept. of Tourism, A.S.I., Police, Electricity, A.I.R. & DDK.
