Seminar to commemorate Kalam’s birth anniversary on Oct 15

Port Blair, Oct 13: The Department of Home Science, Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya here will organize a state level seminar and exhibition on ‘Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s Role on Societal Transformation for Turning Vision 2020 into Reality’ on Oct 15, 2015 from 9.30 am in the auditorium of the institute. The seminar is being organized to commemorate the 85^th birth anniversary of the former President of the country, Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Advisor to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Mr V Ponraj, Scientist ‘F’ will deliver the keynote address through video conferencing, while Smt Sheela Singh, Chairperson, PBMC, will be the chief guest on the occasion. The Senior Scientist of ICAR-CIARI, Dr A Velmurugan will be the guest of honor, a release says.
