Port Blair, Oct 11: The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District Shri. Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, IAS administered the oath of office to Smti. Minati Biswas and Shri. Subir Chandar newly elected Adhyaksha and Up-Adhyaksh respectively, for the first terms South Andaman Zilla Parishad at a function held on 11.10.2015 at Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, in the presence of Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, Smti. Sheela Singh, Chairperson, PBMC, Smti. Rashmi Krishnan, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Smti. Rupa Ray, Smti. Santa Laxman Singh and other dignitaries.
On this occasion Smti. Minati Biswas, Adhyaksha and Shri. Subir Chandar, Up-Adhyaksh addressed the gathering and expressed their gratitude to the newly elected PRIs and Heads of department. They also sought full support and co-orporation for all-round developmental works in South Andaman including Campbell Bay revenue area.
