Port Blair, October 11: An over speeding Alto today jumped off the road and hit an Areacanut Tree at Kalapathar, Sippighat area, this evening at 3:30pm.
According to reports, the Alto Car was going towards Dhannikhari but as, as per reports, the Alto was in a very high speed, the driver of the Car lost the control over the car.
The car reportedly jumped off the road and hit an Areacanut tree. Although the tree collapsed but it saved the car from a major crash.
A team of police immediately reached the spot on information.
Fortunately two people inside the car survived the accident with minor injuries.
