On the auspicious occasion of the 15th Raising Day of the Andaman and Nicobar Command my wife joins me in extending our greetings and felicitations to all personnel of the Command and their families.
The Command continues to provide an effective and responsive mechanism to meet all types of threats and challenges, to ensure territorial integrity of our nation and unrestricted use of the seas in the Region.
Several Coastal Security, Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Management initiatives undertaken by the Command have received appreciation from the local administration and security agencies, as well as other stake holders
The Andaman and Nicobar Command as the first Unified Theatre Command is a role model for the future. We are deeply committed towards ensuring the well being of all Islanders and territorial integrity of these Emerald Islands, as well as building bonds and Bridges of Friendship with our maritime neighbours.
I urge all personnel of the Command to them success in all their endeavors.
