Mayabunder, Oct 01: Parents of some Private School students have made complaint on severe discrepancy in making students’ Identity card. Many Private school managements are collecting Rs. 100/- per card whereas the Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Mayabunder is collecting only Rs.40/- per card.
It is also observed that many photos on the Identity Cards are not matching with students.
As good quality of Identity cards available at the rate of Rs. 40/- at local market of Mayabunder, the Identity Cards @ Rs. 100/- by private schools is not justified, parents allege.
Many private schools doesn’t have educational events like cultural / sports activities, and basic facilities such as play grounds, vehicle parking area toilets for boys and girls etc. for running the school. The quality of teaching in many school is worst than Govt. Schools. It seems that some schools have become an institution for making money. Parents urge the Administration to look into this matter so that the students of Private Schools do not become victim of greedy business tactics.
