Port Blair, Sept 02: On 31.08.15, after persistent and sincere efforts Police team of Police Station Mayabunder headed by Inspr. Abdul Sajid, SHO PS Mayabunder and Investigating Officer of theft and molestation cases HC R.K.Rathore under the supervision of Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District and Dy.SP Diglipur succeeded in nabbing one Suman Lall @ Chotu R/o Pokkadera, Mayabunder from Amkunj, Rangat.
The police party has also recovered stolen articles from the possession of said accused. With this arrest, the police have also solved one case of molestation as well as a case of night burglary.
The general public have been advised to report any incident of theft/burglary with the local police so that such criminals may be apprehended in time to stop the re-occurrence of such crimes. It is also mentioned that police has worked out most of the cases of theft/burglary registered at PS Mayabunder.
